Start with the way you like to apply a product, then compare the formula. Dr. Robaina’s DMSO range includes creams, gels, roll-ons and liquids, with original and lavender options. These are distinct products, so the ingredient list and directions on one formula should not be assumed to apply to another.
What does DMSO mean?
DMSO is short for dimethyl sulfoxide, the ingredient identified in this product range. Some products combine it with ingredients such as magnesium, arnica, OptiMSM®, aloe vera or essential oils. The product page and current label identify the particular formula.
Choose your application format
| Format | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Cream | Our signature 4 oz DMSO Cream features DMSO, OptiMSM, magnesium, arnica, aloe vera and vitamin E. The 4 oz Lavender Cream adds a lavender option. Compare their own complete ingredient lists. |
| Gel | Choose the 4 oz DMSO Gel with magnesium and arnica or explore the 4 oz Lavender Gel with frankincense and arnica. These offer a gel texture rather than the cream format. |
| Roll-on | Compare the 3 oz original Roll-On, 3 oz Lavender Roll-On and warming Hot Gel Roll-On. The applicator is shared; the formulas and sensory experience differ. |
| Liquid and blend | Explore the 4 oz DMSO Liquid with amber glass dropper, 8 oz DMSO Liquid and 4 oz DMSO+ Blend with aloe, magnesium and chamomile. DMSO+ is a distinct blended formula. |
Original, lavender or warming?
If scent is part of your preference, compare the original formula with its lavender counterpart. Lavender products identify lavender oil in their formula; the Lavender Gel also highlights frankincense. The Hot Gel Roll-On is described as a warming format. Those distinctions do not mean that every lavender or roll-on product contains the same ingredients.
Read the complete current ingredient label when choosing around a particular ingredient or fragrance preference. Product names and the short highlights above are a starting point, not a substitute for the full formula.
Does a purity number tell me the concentration of a cream?
A purity figure for a source ingredient and the concentration of that ingredient in a finished blend are different measurements. A cream can contain several ingredients. Do not use a source-ingredient purity figure to calculate the amount of DMSO in every cream, gel or roll-on. Use the current product’s own specifications and ask our team if you need a detail that is not listed.
Compare size and pack options separately
First identify the product and its labeled size. Then compare the available one-, two- or three-bottle options shown on that product page. A pack quantity describes how many units you buy; it does not change the formula inside each unit. Current prices, stock and any subscription terms are shown with the relevant purchase option.
Use the directions for the product you chose
Application directions belong to the individual product. Read its current label and the product-specific How to Use information before adding it to your routine. If you have a formula or label question, contact customerservice@drrobaina.com with the product name.
