Seeing results but don’t like smell

I'm using this on the dog to help treat an area of skin that lost hair and has thickened. We don’t know what has happened to cause this, the vet did a skin scraping that was negative. I’ve been applying the gel once a day and it seems as though the area is getting better. I bought both the cream and gel. The gel works best on the dog but I do not care for the aroma of either. It says "light fragrance" but I think it is strong.
